Born in Mumbai, Chirag Orara grew up enjoying delicious Indian home-cooking prepared by his mother using the freshest local ingredients and spices. These memorable experiences would be the future inspiration for the founding of CA Foods.
We Only Use the Best Ingredients and Products
Chirag emigrated to the UK in 1995. After spending some time in London, Chirag began to crave the familiar taste of home. However, finding the same authentic ingredients his mother used to prepare his favorite childhood dishes proved to be quite a challenge.
In 1990s London, finding authentic Indian spices and ingredients was not easy. Chirag took matters into his own hands by importing spices, pulses, flours, and other essential ingredients himself. This led to the creation of a small business, which he named after his initials – CA Foods.

Now, over 30 years later, CA Foods has grown to become one of the largest ethnic food brands in the UK. It has expanded its network to supply its renowned ingredients across Europe, sharing the authentic flavors of South Asia with the world!
